如果正在寻求能操练英语的挑战性的机会的话,就拿起电话吧。看不到你通话的对象也看不到他们使用的肢体语言可能会使电话变成最难的一种交流工具。以下推荐进行一次陌生电话的五个步骤:   第一步、问候  每个电话应该以礼貌的问候开始例如,Hi, how've you been? 或者Nice to hear from you.就算你出于某种意图打电话给工作上认识的人,如果不以礼貌的寒喧开始谈话而直接进入工作主题的话也是相当不礼貌的。   第二步、逐步表明来意  接着总是该表明电话来意,你该从友好的问候正式转到工作上的目的了。这样的话,就使用短语I'm just calling to ……作为过渡。例如,I'm just calling to see if you'd like to set up a meeting. 如果相反的情况,那你就等机会找出别人为什么打电话给你,你可以这么引导对话,So what can I do for you?   第三步、礼貌的打断别人  如果你正巧和一个非常健谈的人,可能很难get a word in edgewise或插上嘴。如果一个人说了有说,那你就应该打断它,但是记得要做的礼貌客气。例如,用I would like to say something here, if I may或Allow me to make a point开始。或是,你可以只是问一句: May I interrupt you for a second?   第四步、确认  如果你在通话中制订计划的话,记得要在电话结束时确认细节。可以用以下的短语开始Please let me confirm……和So, let me make sure I've got things straight……并加上你理解下的各种信息。   第五步、结束电话  有时这可能是通话中最难把握的一部分!你可以祝福别人,例如在合适的情况下说good luck on that interview或hope you feel better soon.此外,你可能想要确认一下你们制订的任何计划:I'll see you on Friday, then.有时最简单的方式就说你和某人通话非常的愉快。而且,记得技巧的在你准备结束对话之前加上单词well:Well John, it's been a pleasure talking to you.

电话是最迅速的联络工具,尤其在今天,一切都国际化,因此国际电话也逐渐普遍。一旦拿起话筒怎样接听越洋而来的电话呢?应该说些什么?这时候电话英语的重要性可想而知。如果你不会讲,岂不是太糟糕!   假如你能够把基本的电话英语学会了,电话英语何所恐惧?起初几句可能无法随心应答,但是再继续说下去以后,自然就会流畅起来。我们通常认为:如果要学习英语,就得学习完美的英语,讲一口字正腔圆,毫无文法错误的英语。这种近乎苛求的学习态度,愈增加学习的困难。   初学者虽然在文法上的表现不是很正确,发音也有点儿走音。但最起码的交谈,或彼此之间的交流,仍然可以获得某种程度的沟通。打电话以英语交谈时,只要牢记与善用下列四点,就可以畅行无阻。   1、Speak clearly. (清楚地说)   2、Speak slowly. (不慌不忙地说)   3、Don't hesitate to speak. (不踌躇不犹豫地说)   4、Write down the message. (把慨要记在便条纸上)   一接到说英语的电话,首先应说:"Hello",这一句话相当与中国的"喂!喂!".顺利地说出:"Hello",这是电话英语的第一步。"Hello"说出后,接着就是报姓名。   △This is 姓名 Speaking(是某某人在说话)   电话英语的基本构造如上,但也可以省略、简洁地回答。事实上在电话中往往使用最简洁语句来表达。   △This is 姓名 .Speaking→省略   也有人省略[This is],而说成:   △This is →省略。 姓名speaking.   以上无论哪一种省略说法,都少不了"通名报姓",电话里谁在答话?谁来电话?这才是最重要的。才是电话常识。在商业电话方面,如果你是营销部的人,不妨说:"营销部的某某人"   △Sales department, 某某 speaking.   如果公司有电话总机,总机小姐或者接电话的人就可以这样说:   △公司(企业)名,e-home furnishings, May I help you? (宜室家居 我能帮你做什么?)   通常如上的说法就可以,一切讲究时间、效率,所以在谈话的同时又要顾虑到别的电话随时都可能打进来,因此闲话少说,接电话,讯即导入事情核心。   "May I help you?"这是询问对方意见,最直截了当的询问方法,在英文会话来说,这是一定的基本语句。这样的回答,会让对方觉得你很有礼貌。接听了电话以后,还要说些客套话。在某种意义来说,善于说话的人们,往往会在打招呼的客套话身上下点儿功夫,使听者产生好感。   先打招呼,说句客套话,然后才进入主题,这是电话英语或者是英语会话的一定程序。也是对话、会话所不可或缺的。如:   △早晨(上午) Good morning. (早安!)   △午后(下午) Good afternoon. (午安!)   △黄昏(晚上) Good evening. (晚安!)   △"Hi."在好朋友或亲近的人时,都可以使用。   在挂断电话时,最后应该道别一声。如:   △Good-bye.
